Our Little Miracle
Lillian Grace Gaschen was born on Friday, May 13th 2022. She has been blessed by our creator God and Lord Jesus Christ with life and strength to endure hardship and thrive despite her diagnosis of Trisomy 13. This page is dedicated to displaying the miracle of life, the perseverance of her family, the value she adds to those she interacts with, and an encouragement to families who have received this diagnosis to give them hope for the future.

During the craziness of her diagnosis there is great opportunity for fear to come and dominate. Yet Jesus speaks in Matthew 6 about not worrying but trusting in the goodness of our Heavenly Father. Lillian is named after Matthew 6:28-29 (NKJV) “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the Lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Her middle name is a constant reminder that she is a gift. When we say Lillian Grace we are calling ourselves to trust that the Lord will provide for our needs and that this life is a gift. Your child is a gift from the Lord!
